Anthony Brogdona is the producer of the acclaimed documentary Business in the Black, and the author of Black Business Book, America’s number one book on Black business history. His research traces how our ancestors gained education after enslavement, highlights early Black college graduates from the 1800s, documents the founding of every HBCU — including our own Wilberforce University and Central State University — and uncovers the remarkable stories of Black entrepreneurs who built wealth under unimaginable conditions.
Hailing from Jamestown, Ohio, Wade got his start in broadcasting while serving with the United States Navy at the Armed Forces Network station Eagle 810 in Yokota, Japan. Broadcasting on AM radio across the Kanto Plain, listenership was shared by both American Forces and a Japanese shadow audience tuning in for American Top 40 and an insight to military operations at home and abroad.
