  • Robert A. Franklin, PhD. has been named General Manager of WCSU-FM, Central State University public radio station. Dr. Franklin has more than 20 years of management experience with National Public Radio affiliated station at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Western Illinois University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore and KSUT Four Corners Public Radio. An award-winning radio and documentary film producer. Dr. Franklin's current film, "Rise-Mickey Leland, Citizen" was recently screened at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. Dr. Franklin is a former Joan Barone Shorenstein Congressional Journalism Fellow. Dr. Franklin's career also includes teaching a variety of college media communication courses.
