Dr. Robert Franklin
Robert A. Franklin, PhD. has been named General Manager of WCSU-FM, Central State University public radio station. Dr. Franklin has more than 20 years of management experience with National Public Radio affiliated station at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Western Illinois University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore and KSUT Four Corners Public Radio. An award-winning radio and documentary film producer. Dr. Franklin's current film, "Rise-Mickey Leland, Citizen" was recently screened at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. Dr. Franklin is a former Joan Barone Shorenstein Congressional Journalism Fellow. Dr. Franklin's career also includes teaching a variety of college media communication courses.

Robbie grew up in New Hampshire, but has since written stories for radio stations from Washington, D.C., to a fishing village in Alaska. Robbie graduated from the University of Maryland and got his start in public radio at the Transom Story Workshop in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Before arriving at Maine Public Radio, he worked in the Midwest, where he covered everything from beer to migrant labor for public radio station WMUK in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Lena Fields-Arnold is WCSU's Underwriting/Marketing Representative. She is a published author and motivational speaker. In addition to her own books, her work has been featured in numerous papers, periodicals, and anthologies. As a writer, Lena seeks to push people past their comfort zones and engage in meaningful dialogue that moves beyond the boundaries of political correctness, and leads to real understanding and mutual respect; even for opposing opinions and beliefs. It is because of this dynamic ability Lena is consistently sought out as a motivational speaker. Lena received her master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and her bachelor’s in Mass Communications from Wright State University in Dayton, OH.
